Winter chills and warmers!

Extra festivities throughout winter mean there’s a lot to look forward to! Here are some tips from us on how to make the most of them:

  • Hallowe’en arrives 31st October. Carve out scary faces in pumpkins, put tea light candles inside and leave outside to scare passers by! You could even have a pumpkin carving competition and see who makes the creepiest face. Maybe make some cakes or cookies for those pesky trick or treaters that may come by.
  • Remember, remember, the 5th November! A number of firework and bonfire nights will be taking place up and down the country. Wrap up warm and take the family out to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’!
  • February brings us St Valentines Day. Whether it’s a cosy night in, a hotel break or even a dinner party with friends, don’t forget to share the day with the people you love. For some good recipe ideas visit http://www.bbc.com/food/recipes/
